Perhaps it’d be best to talk to one of the (many) places that do tattoo and/or piercing around you and see what they suggest. I’d be surprised if they charged you anything for the info and it’d be a lot safer than waiting to see if something goes wrong.
nowhere in oly does this sort of thing, just normal-type piercing (apparently this is considered “above-and-beyond”, along with scarification). i’m doing a sea-salt soak every morning and evening, and keeping a bandaid on it for a few weeks to keep it in place while it heals again. if it gets worse, i’m going to call someone in seattle for advice and possibly schedule a removal. i’m waiting a week for this to happen.
i did a sea-salt soak last night and this morning, and it feels a little better. we’ll see in a few days though.
Huh, I would’ve thought someone in Oly would. Oh well. Hopefully things turn out well.
